NAC Funding Support for Dryad Press

We are deeply grateful to the National Arts Council, the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, and the Presidency of South Africa for their generous support of Dryad Press. Today, we are honoured to have been awarded a publishing subsidy for two significant works in our catalogue: Magnitude by Deborah Seddon (Oct, 2025), and our forthcoming 2026 publication, Zero Summer by Simon van Schalkwyk. This support not only affirms the literary and cultural value of these books, but also strengthens our mission as an independent press committed to publishing work of depth, originality and lasting resonance.
