What a privilege it has been to read, re-read, evaluate and consider over 80 submissions for the Dryad Press publication list. Thank you to every person who had the courage to submit their work. We could ultimately only select four manuscripts for publication and are proud to announce that we will be publishing debut collections by poet Sarah Uheida, and poet and academic Deborah Seddon in 2025. In 2026, we offer a debut collection by creative and performance artist Thando Fuze, and a second collection by Dryad poet, lecturer, academic and literary critic Simon van Schalkwyk. Congratulations to each of these poets for making it through the arduous selection, shortlist and report process. We can’t wait to bring you their powerful stories.
